I hear some lyrics were copied. The feel and sound of the song are totally different. I'm not convinced that Zeppelin should have paid out massive money. Whole Lotta Love is their own animal. Whole Lotta Love was a massive hit because of Led Zeppelin and their heavy spin on basic blues. The two recordings are extremely distinctive. I would have changed the lyrics so as not to get sued. The heavy electric sound of Led Zeppelin is totally different from what the bluesmen did. Whole Lotta Love is 95% the original baby of Zeppelin.

A well known DJ is selling up and letting me pay on the knock. This was on his list. I've bought The Volcanoes- (its against) the laws of love- the rarer single-sided demo. Im currently paying for a lovely demo of gene chandler- Mr big shot. He has very kindly taken Ted taylor and Tommy Dodson - operate off his sales list. He's happy for me to continue paying the way I have been... and im more than happy because they are out of my price range to pay outright for any of them... £400 for Ted 😮 Edward Hamilton and The Arabians - baby don't you weep is very tempting, but so are 99% of the rest... it would be nice to replace my boot of Herbert Hunter, but ive racked up enough debt for now

I knew her when I was a child…she (Raelettes) and Buddy Guy (Drifters)were two Itascans (Itasca Texas) who left home and moved out to Los Angeles and became famous. Her Father was Eddie and mother was Eva Mae…Sisters were Pauline, Evvie, & Maxine…Brothers were Byrce and Roland. The moved to Wichita Falla Tx in the early 60s and only saw them occasionally. I heard she passed away in November 2024. RIP Ruby Ray Roberson!
